Artist’s Statement:
Inspired by the many hours I have spent en plein-air painting along the South West coast of Western Australia, this landscape captures the quiet power of place – where textured bushland meets the soft pull of the distant sea. It reflects the stillness and vastness I often experience while painting in these remote environments, as well as my deep connection to, and interpretation of, the landscape.
