Artist’s Statement:
My paintings are an observation of everyday Australian life and landscape. This painting is from a series developed from a visit to the salt lakes at the top of Lake Moore near Paynes Find, a former gold rush town in the Mid West region of Western Australia. Approximately five hours north of Perth, the landscape is known for its rich history and constantly changing terrain.
