The Poultry & Pigeons Competition is a vibrant showcase of backyard favourites and rare breeds.

Visitors can see everything from colourful bantams and ducks to striking pigeons, highlighting the diversity and importance of poultry in WA.

What You’ll See:
Rows of chickens, ducks, turkeys and pigeons judged for breed standards, health and presentation. It’s a lively and family-friendly competition where breeders proudly display their best birds.

Location: Poultry Pavilion, Claremont Showground

The competition is open to poultry and pigeon breeders across WA.

Exhibitors enter birds into breed and class competitions judged by experts according to strict national standards.

It is a fantastic opportunity to benchmark breeding programs, promote backyard poultry keeping and connect with fellow enthusiasts. Exhibitors compete for ribbons, trophies and the prestige of Champion titles.
