The Perth Royal Show Photographic Exhibition is the most prestigious photographic competition in Western Australia, conducted by the Royal Agricultural Society of WA (RASWA). Each year, it showcases evocative and technically brilliant work from talented photographers across the nation.

What You’ll See:
From wildlife and rural life to portraiture, landscapes, creative works and youth entries, the exhibition celebrates the best of the best. All accepted works will be displayed in the Photography Pavilion during the Show, with the public invited to vote for their favourite under the People’s Choice Award presented by Ted’s Cameras.

The Perth Royal Show’s National Photographic Competition is open to photographers across the Commonwealth of Australia and APS members overseas, with categories spanning Youth, Open Colour, Portrait, Wildlife, Landscape, Australian Rural Life, Creative/Altered Reality, and Monochrome.

• Entries close: Midnight, Sunday 27 July 2025
• First Stage Judging: 1–2 August 2025
• Second Stage Judging: 13 September 2025
• Awards Presentation: Tuesday 23 September 2025

• Most Successful Photographer ($500 + sash + voucher)
• Best Youth Print ($125 + voucher)
• People’s Choice Award presented by Ted’s Cameras ($250 + voucher, voted by Show patrons)
