Australia is home to some of the world’s finest Merino wool. Our local Merino wool is celebrated for its softness and superior quality, making it a favourite among designers for garments and textiles across the globe.
Now is your chance to showcase the luxury of fine Merino wool, produced right here in Western Australia. Producers may enter their fleece into the following categories:
- Ultra Fine Fleece
- Super Fine Fleece
- Fine Fleece
- Medium Fleece
- Strong Fleece

Key dates:
- Entries open: Thursday 2 April 2026 at 5pm
- Entries close: Monday 24 August 2026 at 5pm
- Deliveries: Thursday 10 September 2026 between 8.30am – 3.30pm
- Collections: from Sunday 4 October 2026 or at the discretion of Royal Agricultural Society of WA
