It is with great pleasure we provide our loyal exhibitors with a sneak peak of the theme for 2020. So, get thinking and crafting away with From the World of Horses in mind. Exhibitors have the opportunity to enter up to two (2) entries in the Theme classes.

Mastery, inspiration and every so often, sheer perfection, are on display at the ever-popular Craft and Cookery competitions which are an integral part of the Perth Royal Show. Incorporating a mix of timeless classics and on trend elements the competitions remain immensely popular with exhibitors and members of the public alike.

The competitions attract hundreds of entries from all over Australia and from all different age groups, as entrants show off their best. It is also a wonderful way to share ideas and knowledge of their much-loved craft.

Juniors

Both competitions have junior categories, which encourages young people to develop and showcase their skills. Juniors are also encouraged to enter the open categories which include a wider range of classes.

Seniors

The Craft competition has a senior category for those 70 years of age and over, which we encourage seniors to enter to showcase their skills. Seniors are also encouraged to enter the open categories which include a wider range of classes.

Small Business

Small Businesses can enter the Decorated Cakes – Small Business category in the Cookery competition. Small businesses have the opportunity to enhance their brand through this category. The opportunity is only open to small businesses who sell their product to the public. To qualify for this category, you must hold an ABN related to the production and selling of decorated cakes.

Schools Competitions

Craft and Cookery categories are also available for students to enter through their School in the Schools Competitions, which is free to enter. For more information please refer to the Schools Competitions page.
