Cookery at the Campbell pavilion

Cookery Pavilion

How many cooks can you fit in a kitchen? When it comes to the Campbell Pavilion, there’s culinary creativity from dozens of cooks of all ages. They’ve made cakes, slices, puddings, sponges and bottled olives, marmalade and pesto in the hope of being named the best.

There are decorated wedding cakes, fairy tale gingerbread houses and this year for the first time cakes shaped and decorated as cushions. Another visual treat for showgoers will be floral arrangements in a tea cup and saucer as well as a piped baskets. Entrants can create any type of basket that takes their fancy even a tool box or fishing box.

The WA Cake Decorators' Association of WA will have a special display which will include pots of flowers and a garden shed.

There will be 3 cake decorating demonstrations a day.

Location: G9
