important information for new members

SCANNING YOUR PASSES

Members’ Photo ID passes and Multi Entry Guest Passes are bar-coded Passes must be scanned in and scanned out every time you enter or exit the gates. If the pass is not scanned out, and you try to re-enter on that same day it will appear VOID and entry using that pass will be denied. Passes are automatically re-activated nightly - this will allow passes to be scanned on the next day.

PHOTO

A quality passport photo in colour is required for all Members.
Please;
  1. attach photo to Membership Application Form or
  2. email to Membership Coordinator.
    Membership can be processed on receipt of photo.
Acceptable photo:
  • No hats or sunglasses.
  • Eyes to be clearly visible with no reflection from prescription glasses.
  • In focus, taken at close range and with Member looking directly at the camera.
  • The background a single colour and preferably opposite to hair colouring.
  • The RAS has facilities set up to take photos. Please book appointment.
  • You will be advised if your photo is not suitable and another photo will be requested.

REPLACEMENT PHOTO FOR CURRENT MEMBERS

Member Photo can be updated by enclosing the $10.00 fee with your Renewal Application Form.
The quality coloured passport photo can be emailed to membcoord@raswa.org.au.

DISCOUNT

Current financial Members of an Affiliated Western Australian Agricultural Society may apply for a 10% discount on the annual fee.To receive discount all relevant details must be supplied on the Membership Renewal or Application form.

This offer is not available to members of The RAS of WA or Eastern States Agricultural Societies or Royals

MEMBERSHIP DEFERMENT

Members may apply in writing to the CEO to defer/suspend their Membership. Members who suspend/defer their membership for in excess of one (1) year will be required to pay a joining fee when they wish to re-activate their membership.
