The 2005 Perth Royal Show starts on Saturday 24th September with an extensive programme running until Saturday 1st October 2005.

Official Show Opening Times
In 2005, the Show will again open from 9am to 9pm every day with Sideshow Alley staying open until 11pm. Please note that most pavilions are open from 9am to 9pm however times do vary.

The 2005 Perth Royal Show offers better-than-ever value. Once again this year, the family pass offers a special rate for two family entry options, please refer below.

Jump the Queue
Tickets are on sale from your local Woolworths supermarkets from Thursday 8 September 2005.
Getting to the Show
Public transport is the easiest way to get to the Show. Avoid the queues and buy your tickets early. Pre-purchase FamilyRider or DayRider tickets from any Newspower newsagent, Perth Train Station or Transperth InfoCentres.
Catch the train or bus to the Claremont Showgrounds. Bus numbers 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 98/99 (CircleRoute), 102, 103 and 107 all stop near the Showgrounds or take the train which stops directly at the Showgrounds.
You can also buy tickets on the day from bus drivers or at on-station ticket vending machines, but with large Show crowds expected—advance purchase is recommended. For more information call the Transperth InfoLine on 13 62 13 or visit www.transperth.wa.gov.au
Parking
Parking is limited and a charge of $10 per day applies at Town of Claremont temporary Show parking areas located at the Claremont Aquatic Centre (Davies Rd), Claremont Football Club grounds (Graylands Rd), Rowe Park (cnr Langsford & Gugeri Sts), Westrail Car Park (south side of Shenton Rd), Claremont Golf Club (Lapsley Rd), Gugeri St (between the subway and Westrail Station), Claremont Tennis Club (cnr Shenton Pl and Shenton Rd) and Brockway St (between Mofflin and Second Ave).
Call for Volunteers
Do you have some free time during Saturday 24th September to Saturday 1 October 2005 when you could assist the RASWA in one of the many areas that rely on Volunteer teamwork?

First Aid
St John’s First Aid volunteers will be at Rose Ave (Map D8) inside Gate 9 and at the rear of The West Australian building on Keane Ave (Map J4).
Parcel Minding
This service is provided by the Girl Guides at Gate 1 (Map L4) and by Claremont UWA UniSwim at the junction of Edgar Ave and Richardson Ave (Map E5).
Stroller Hire
Strollers are available from inside Gate 1(Map L3). Cost is $10 per half day and then $2 per hour or part there of after that. A refundable $30 deposit is required.
Lost Children & Parent Rest Centre
There are four Constable Care Safety Stops, each a different colour and standing 4 metres high, ensuring they are recognised as a meeting place for people who become separated from their group. The stops are located at Wittenoom Ave outside the Jim Horwood Pavilion (Map B6), Mitchell Ave next to the Trade Cattle (Map D2), Hardey Ave outside the Heritage Building (Map H7) and Keane Ave opposite the Food Court (Map J3). Also, the Australian Red Cross operates a Lost Children and Parent Rest Centre on Weir Ave (Map E8).
Constable Care Lost Children Stickers
To help reunite lost children with loved ones, visitors are advised to fill out their child’s details on an ID sticker and place it inside the child’s clothing. Stickers are available from Gates 1 and 10, the Police Exhibition (Map I8), the Australian Red Cross Lost Children and Parent Rest Centre (Map E8) and the Showground’s Police Station inside Gate 10 (Map E9).
Parents’ Facilities
Available at the Australian Red Cross Lost Children and Parent Centre (Map E8), Keane Ave toilets (Map K5), Robinson Pavilion toilets (Map I1), Waylen Ave toilets (Map G3) and Weir Ave toilets (Map F7).
People with Disabilities
Parking is available for people displaying an ACROD sticker at the Claremont Football Club grounds (Graylands Rd) and limited parking at the Ashton Ave car park for cars and small vans. See Showgrounds map link from the home page for disabled toilet facilities.
Wheelchairs ($10 per half day and $20 for a full day) and gophers ($25 per half day and $50 for a full day) are available from the stroller hire site inside Gate 1 (Map L3). Wheelchairs can be pre-booked one day in advance by telephoning 0409 374 846 from 27 September. This service is provided by the Lions Club of Scarborough. A refundable $50 deposit is required. Electric gophers $25 half day or $50 for a full day. A refundable $100 deposit is required.
