Both goats and their milk are judged in this competition on the dairy goat judging lawn, at the top of the cattle lanes. The main judging happens on the Sunday but you’ll find them at the Showground most of the week.
Four breeds compete at the Show: Saanen, Toggenburg, British Alpine and Anglo Nubian.
Dairy goats are traditionally hand-raised and like people so make sure you go into their shed and say hello. Don’t forget to check out the mural outside featuring the four breeds.
Be udderly entertained by the much-loved kid goat parade which happens on Friday at 10am on the dairy goat judging lawn.
