Creative Crafts
Something old, something new, something borrowed or something blue, the Creative Crafts Competition celebrates time-honoured activities and their never-ending ability to please the heart and eye.
In the Silver Jubilee Pavilion you’ll see 25 individual sections including knitting, greeting cards, hobby ceramics, wearable art, dolls, toys, patchwork quilting, blacksmithing and much more.
Hundreds of entries come in from all over Australia – and even some from overseas – as people show off their colourful, creative and crafty best. This year’s feature craft is lace.
Demonstrations happen on most days and during the eight days of the Show some 2,500 exhibitors participate.
