While it isn't a race that stops a nation, when the cavies hit the track on the Thursday of the Show there is plenty of excitement and quite a few laughs. One of the funniest competitions of the Show, there are no guarantees what will happen at the starting line. Some cavies refuse to go anywhere at all, others display remarkable agility, and one or two have been known to run in the wrong direction. Cavies are judged all day.
