What do a Turkish Tumbler, the Pygmy Pouter, a Bernevelder and an Indian Runner have in common? They’re all types of world class pigeons and poultry you’ll find in the Pigeons and Poultry Pavilion.

Hundreds of feathered friends are expected to be exhibited in more than 600 classes.

On the opening day of the Show, come down and watch the Pigeons and Poultry be judged. All birds stay on display for the duration of the Show from 9am to 5pm.

Primary schools will also compete in the Schools Painting Competition with the resulting artworks judged and hung in the pavilion.

Chicks are hatching daily within the incubator enclosure, so make sure you get up close to watch the action.

2011 saw over 3000 eggs being handpainted by kids and big kids alike - come and give it a go this year - it's free!
