Separate from the Perth Royal Wine Show, the Amateur Wine Competition is open to any amateur who likes to make wine, whether it's in your kitchen or in the backyard.
All ages are welcome. The Competition attracts entries from all age groups, even students, and from all around Australia. The classes include fruit, citrus, vegetable, herb or grain, mead or sparkling, red, white, dry or sweet.
Certificates and sashes are awarded to the best amateur fruit wines from the dozens of entries received each year.
