The toughly-contested cattle competitions at the Show are some of the oldest competitions held at the Showground. All 500 cattle are judged within their breed and champion animals compete against other breeds in the Interbreed Competition to select a champion. In the Cattle Judging Ring, beef cattle are judged from Saturday to Tuesday and dairy cattle on Friday. Visit the cattle lanes between 9am to 6pm daily. Don't miss the cattle auction on Monday from 9am in the Cattle Judging Ring and 11am in the trade pens.

The Interbreed Novelty Calf Competition in the Cattle Ring at 5pm on Thursday features kids and their calves going fancy dress.

Location: B2
